The UGA Ethics Lab, run by professors Jeremy Davis and Nick Schuster, serves as the Philosophy Department's primary venue for workshopping research and scholarly projects in ethics, broadly construed to include ethical theory, history of ethics, metaethics, applied ethics, and social/political philosophy. In keeping with its mission to encourage and support graduate work, in particular, the Lab prioritizes workshopping graduate students' projects and provides opportunities for them to engage, in a small-group setting, with visiting speakers and faculty from other UGA departments who work in ethics.
