The Philosophy Undergraduate Student Association examines the nature of the world and our knowledge of reality. Our members seek to educate each other and discuss a variety of philosophical topics while employing various types of philosophical outlooks. We embrace all perspectives, which together contribute to our search for meaning and knowledge. The Philosophy Undergraduate Student Association welcomes both beginning and experienced students. Former topics discussed include Plato’s Myth of Er, Corporate Entities as Modern Mythological Figures, and Hyperreality. We meet in Peabody Hall 205S every Thursday from 6-7:30pm. Meetings may include discussions, lectures, or debates. Philosophy Club occasionally hosts guest speakers, and we hold events such as movie screenings and Philosophy Trivia Night.
