Congratulations Spring 2024 Graduates!

The Department of Philosophy hosted a reception and awards presentation on Friday, May 10 to recognize Spring 2024 graduates and award recipients. Students and their families gathered for refreshments in Peabody Hall as department head Aaron Meskin and undergraduate coordinator Melissa Fahmy recognized this year's graduates and scholarship and award winners. Graduate coordinator Sarah Wright recognized Dr. Cindy Ren, who was awarded a PhD during the May 9th graduate student commencement ceremony. Dr. Ren's dissertation title is “In Search of the Concept of Life: Lessons from Aristotle, Kant, and Hegel in Interface with Modern Science.” All graduates were presented with a gift bag containing a selection of commemorative items.
