Fall 2024 Graduate Student News & Accomplishments

PhD student Alex Asay has returned to the department after a six-month military deployment overseas. Staff Sergeant Alex Asay on duty at Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia. PhD student Alex Asay has been awarded a Fall 2024 scholarship from The UGA Foundation through the Student Veterans Resource Center and was awarded The Air and Space Commendation Medal by the Air Force for his actions abroad.
