John Granrose passed away in November 2023

After retiring from the University of Georgia Philosophy Department in 1993, Dr. Granrose moved to Zürich, Switzerland, where he completed his studies at the C.G. Jung Institute. As a Jungian psychoanalyst, he served as Director of Studies at the Institute until 2002. He continues to lecture to Jungian groups internationally. A longstanding member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, his current research concerns the history and philosophy of conjuring.

Department of Philosophy Professor Emeritus John Granrose passed away peacefully on November 24, 2023 at his home in Yorkshire, England at the age of 83. Dr. Granrose taught Philosophy at UGA for 27 years until his retirement in 1993.
