Meet New Department Head Sept. 5

On Thursday, Sept. 5, students are invited to enjoy coffee, iced tea, and cookies with the new Head of the Department of Philosophy, Aaron Meskin at 5pm in Peabody Hall. Dr. Meskin has recently joined us after teaching philosophy for 14 years in England. This offers an opportunity to talk about what’s working well in the department and also to present ideas about what else the department could be doing. Dr. Meskin will discuss his plans for the department, muse about the philosophy of coffee, and share why the English drink so much tea.
